Antique Japanese shunga drawing from the Taishō–early Shōwa period. Pencil and ink on cardboard; ukiyo-e lineage; anonymous work; size 19 × 27 cm.
This series consists of small, hand-drawn erotic works created in a modest, private format on simple cardboard supports. They continue selected elements of the ukiyo-e visual tradition while reflecting the discreet character of early 20th-century shunga. Anonymity is typical for this period and follows longstanding conventions of private erotic art.
